Heroes in hands of perfect person who likes to do things properly.

Samir Karnik the director of Heroes movie and much hunted Cinematographer Binod Pradhan have come together to toil in Heroes movie. A particular scene with Salman Khan required him to sit on top of an army truck with the sun setting behind the mountains as a backdrop. In such a situation good lighting is integral if not crucial and since it was a top angle shot the crane had to be plan in order to hold the actors and the beautiful place.

The scene was set but sadly the sun had made other plans and swiftly went behind the mountains and the moment was vanished. And not being a man to adjust the situation Binod Pradhan denied to take the shot. Samir Karnik regretted “By the time the crane was moved and Binodji was ready the daylight had gone. Binodji said it’s too late to take the shot, I still tried to push him to take the shot but there was no daylight. I was a little disturbed that we could not do the shot as it would have been perfect take. But unfortunately nature had other plans”

Sohail Khan started his career as a producer and director, but couple of years ago he also started acting in the movies, currently Sohail Khan is really on the wing. If you think that it’s because of his two forthcoming flicks Hello and Heroes movie, then you are thinking in the wrong way. Undoubtedly he is joyful and very much certain about his forthcoming ventures but the cause behind his gladness is completely unprofessional and not at all related to the B-Town.

The reason behind his happiness is that, Sohail Khan is in fact taking training lessons in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh to be a qualified pilot. According to the sources, Sohail made his first solo flight last month and it was just right. And we are very much sure that it must have made his mental state rise.

Tears in Salman Khan’s eyes.

Speaking about the Heroes movie, Sallu said, “Heroes brought tears into my eyes about six or seven times while watching it. That’s the most I’ve cried while watching any movie. Samir Karnik has done an marvelous job with Heroes movie. He is the true hero. The film is also very well shot.”

Despite the external packaging of the movie, Salman Khan says that there is nothing to do with war on the battlefield. Heroes have nothing to do with war, fights and violence. Sohail Khan and Vatsal Seth have to deliver three letters to the parents of the three shaheed jawans. Heroes movie is not a Gadar or a Border or Maa Tujhe Salaam. Will Bollywood miss Ayesha Takia?

The ‘innocent’ image has been so dominant that Jag Mohan Mundhra the director of the Indian version of ‘The Forty year virgin’ where she was supposed be the lead heroine, is panicking after Ayesha revealed that she intends to settle down and not pursue her career further. First the other simple girl of B-Town Amrita Rao, walked out of his movie and now Ayesha’s retirement plans puts him in a tight spot.

The ‘Big B’ backs Bollywood strike

“All shoots are off!” Dinesh Chaturvedi, Head of the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) which controls over 20 unions representing Bollywood workers, declared today when announcing the biggest strike to hit Bollywood in 50 years.
The indefinite protest, reminiscent of the recent Hollywood Writers’ strike, is about low wages, late payments and the persistent use of non-union actors. Although Indian cinema owners often revolt against perceived high cinema entertainment tax slapped onto admission prices, this is possibly the first time in Bollywood’s history that its workers have stopped work en masse. Chaturvedi added: “It’s within our rights to ask for better pay. A film worker gets 600 rupees (about £8) a day. The least the producers can do is pay them on time.”

Samir Karnik once again casted Bobby Deol with big brother Sunny Deol in heroes Movie

After playing brothers in ‘Dillagi’ and ‘Apne’ they both are ready to do the same role in Samir Karnik’s next Heroes movie. Are the audiences are ready for the heavy dose of loud acting and taut dancing?

After Nanhe Jaisalmer the director of the movie Samir Karnik seems to be very fond of Bobby Deol, although the movie didn’t hit the box office and resulted into flop of the year. The director is ready to release his next flick Heroes movie before Roshan which is has also Bobby Deol.

The relationship of with Bobby Deol has encouraged him to cast Sunny Deol in Heroes movie. The film has different segments and has three stories with Salman Khan & Preity Zinta, Mithun Chakraborty & Dino Morea and Sunny & Bobby Deol.

The track record of Samir Karnik is not very much impressive he has two flops in a row Kyun…! Ho Gaya Na and Nanhe Jaisalmer and if he manages to come out successfully by experimenting with a new format, his career will definitely get a new charter of life. Most of his shed members are frantically seeking a hit film and will have much to celebrate and cheer about too. Otherwise it will be another sporadic film which no one will care about.

On the fatwa issued against Salman Khan and his family.

It is painfully hilarious to know that the Muslim clerics had issued a fatwa against Salman Khan and his family for celebrating Ganeshotsav, the popular Hindu festival, in their home, asserting that worshipping Lord Ganesh is in his blood as his mother is Hindu. The fatwa against his entire family was issued by Mufti Manjar Hassan Khan Ashrafi Misbahi, the chief of Darul-Uloom Hijaziya Chishti, Mumbai.

Salim Khan, Bollywood’s legendary scriptwriter and father of megastar Salman Khan, is deeply hurt by this and denounces the fatwa saying, “They claim to be speaking for Islam, but actually what they are doing is anti-Islamic. And I am relying on the scriptures of the Holy Quran, which says my religion is with me, yours is with you. Don’t force your religious beliefs on others.”
“What is the locus standi of these people? Who are they to question people’s religious beliefs? They have never considered issuing such fatwa against any terrorist who butchers innocent people. They only pick on secular Muslims,” he pointed out in an emotion-charged voice.
Justifying his family celebrating Ganeshotsav at home, Khan said, “We are born in India, it is our motherland and it is our duty to respect the sentiments of the people of this country, partake in their festivities, joys and sorrows. How can a handful of these people decide who will go to heaven and who will not? Have they already reserved their places in heaven?”
Justifying the decision to celebrate Ganeshotsav with family last week, Salim said that his wife Sushila was forced to change her name to Salma after marriage by hardline Muslim clerics.

Priety Zinta sizzles in Heroes movie.

Preity Zinta is all set to make an impression on audiences in a new role as a shy Punjabi lady who is a war widow of Salman Khan in Heroes movie. When asked why she agreed to do the movie, Preity replied, “I was at this segment in my life where I was refusing every film that came my way. I just wanted to do something special. And one fine day Samir just walked in and narrated the script to me. I liked the story and without wasting any time I agreed to do the film.”

The movie features an all together cast that moreover includes Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Sohail Khan, Dino Morea, Mithun Chakraborty, Riya Sen, Amrita Arora and Vatsal Seth. It is heroes movie is all set to release on October 24.

Heroes movie is based on a war film, denies Samir Karnik.

Salman Khan clothed as a soldier might give the feeling that the Heroes movie is based on a war film. But the director of the movie Samir Karnik denies it. Samir Karnik, who directed Kyon Ho Gaya Na and Nanhe Jaisalmer says that ‘Heroes’ is a road trip movie about two guys who meet several astonishing characters while travelling through India.

"They tour 1000 miles to meet their providence. The principle about the film is that all of us have a hero inside us. It is only occurrence that makes us realize it."The Army background is just emblematic about the individuals, but the movie has no focus on war like Border or LoC Kargil”, he said. Samir Karnik also spoke about the genre of the movie: "I don't think that I would want to focus on a particular genre of film. Any exhilarating story that is good enough to make a film on is ideal."Heroes movie is a multi starrer film, casting Salman khan, Preity Zinta, Sohail Khan, Vatsal Seth, Mithun Chakraborty, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Riya Sen and Amrita Arora. The heroes movie is produced by Vikas Kapoor who is also Salman's business manager.

Salman Khan visits Akalgarh Sahib Gurudwara for shooting bollywood movie “Heroes”

Salman Khan has a huge fan following wherever he goes, with out without his shirt on. When he returned to Punjab to complete the shooting schedule of Heroes movie they buzz his arrival generated in the small village of Gharuan was phenomenal. The location for the song ‘Mannata’ was at the Akalgarh Sahib Gurudwara, the crew arrived at 5:30 in the morning and by 8:00 am the word had spread like wildfire and when Salman arrived at the location the crowd went crazy!

The director of the bollywood Heroes movie Samir Karnik stated that, “The kids climbed the walls of the Gurudwara just to get a vision of him, the affect he had on the people were incredible. I have never seen anything like this before”. But the best was yet to come, when Salman alighted from the vanity van dressed as a Sardar complete with the turban and the beard the people greeted him saying satsriakal praji as he walked by and he would greet them back in character with the Punjabi accent.

The director also said, “That is the power of his performance, people would ask the crew who is this new actor and on hearing it was Salman the look in their eyes was inestimable. However, Salman did not restrict his role to just the look of his character, he ensured that the entire cast and crew abided with the basic rules of the Sikh faith which included no smoking and that meant no cigarette packets were carried on location. The very presence of Salman was larger than life. Some how the entire village and the surrounding villages had got news of the shoot and we had an army of people pushing at the gates to get in and watch the shoot, We had to call in the cops to handle the crowd and soon the cops were out numbered too. It was sheer madness.” Hope the cinema halls will see the same mad rush with the release of the film Heroes.
