Salman acted as Sardar for first time in his career.

For the first time in Salman Khan’s Career he will be seen as a Sardar in his forthcoming film Heroes movie. Like the latest films with heroes portraying a Sikh personality sporting French beard, Salman Khan really grew his facial hair long enough to fit into the character of a Sardar completely.

Salman is a chain smoker also banned smoking whenever he uses to do the Sikh makeup. Vikas Kapoor the Producer of the movie said that, "Salman respects all religion and follows them devotedly. He knew that Sikhs commonly don’t avoid smoking as they are barred by their religion. Hence taking that into thought Sallu decided not to smoke during the shooting of the movie."

Heroes movie also casts, Sohail Khan, Vatsal seth Mithun Chakraborty, Dino Morea, Priety Zinta, Amrita Arora Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, and Riya Sen.
