Abhishek Bachchan speaking on his new movie Drona he says. “It is not for the reason that the film is being directed by my best friend. But I believe in Drona and I have worked tremendously hard for this movie. This will be the first for Indian audiences and will work in the same way to promote it,” In between a hectic schedule of the Unforgettable Tour, he flew down to Mumbai for a day to shoot the promos for MTV’s different shows like The Big Picture, Hot Seat. As he sits in the airport lounge on his way to Delhi Jr. Bachchan said, “If I did not shoot these promos, I would have missed the cut-off date for the programming scheduled for September. It’s important to allot dates for promoting the movie so that people know what your film is all about.”
The president of Eros International India, Mr. Sunil Lulla said, “Abhishek is very much dedicated to the project. He was here for less than a day and he shot for us for more than 12 hours.”
Shrishti Arya says, “Abhishek Bachchan is keenly involved with Drona. He attended all the meetings when we have discussed the strategy and marketing of the movie”.
Drona’s promos are already out and the response has been exceptionally positive. This has certainly egged the team to go an extra mile to promote it. And leading the pack is Abhishek Bachchan.
