Drona Movie is insured for Rs.50 crore

Drona Movie has been insured for Rs.50 crore. This is the biggest insured movie of Bollywood ever, which has been directed by Goldie Behl who is the childhood friend of the Abhishek Bachchan under the Goldie Behl’s home production “Rose Movies” in association with “EROS International.”

The producers have insured for Rs.50 crore fro the movie with the state owned United India Insurance (UII). The reason for insuring such high amount is due to the spectacular special effects in the movie. The insurance policy covers, the death or injury of actors, any damage to the sets, costumes, movie equipments as well as theft. But the box office performance can’t be insured.
